Sign & Install Apps
Using IPA Signer (Recommended)
- Purchase our Platinum package to get access to online code signing for your device.
- Visit IPA Signer and enter your UDID.
- Select the IPA file you'd like to sign and click "Sign App".

Once signing is complete, install the app on your device by clicking "Install App." If you're using IPA Signer on a computer, click "Download App" and install using any of these methods:
- Connect your device to your Mac with a USB cable and open Apple Configurator. Select your device, click Add > Apps > Choose from my Mac, and choose the IPA file.
- Install iFunbox, click Install App, and choose the IPA file.
- Drag and drop your IPA file onto the Diawi homepage, visit the link on your device, and click Install Application.
Using Signulous
- Purchase our Platinum package to get access to online code signing for your device.
- Visit the signing dashboard on Signulous and follow the prompts to link your device.
- Browse for any apps you want to install and click "Sign App".
- Once signing is complete, follow the instructions to install the app on your device.
Using iOS App Signer (online)
- Purchase our Platinum package to get access to online code signing for your device.
- Visit iOS App Signer.
- For the Input File, click Browse and select the IPA file for the app you'd like to sign.
- Enter your device UDID. All other fields are optional: New Application ID, App Display Name, and App Version.
- Click Start and wait for signing to finish.

Install the app on your device by clicking "install app." If you're using IPA Signer on a computer, click "download app" and install using any of these methods:

- Install iFunbox, click Install App, and choose the IPA file.
- Drag and drop your IPA file onto the Diawi homepage, visit the link on your device, and click Install Application.
Using iOS App Signer (on your Mac)
- Purchase our Silver, Gold, or Platinum package to get Certificate & Provisioning files for your device.
- Visit the link in your confirmation email or look up your order on our website.
- Click "Certificate & Provisioning Files" and download both files.
- Double-click the .p12 file to add it to your keychain, using the password 123456.
- Download and open iOS App Signer on your Mac.
- For the Input File, click Browse and select the IPA or DEB file for the app you'd like to sign.
- For the Signing Certificate dropdown, select the certificate with the same name as the .p12 file that was just added to your keychain.
- For the Provisioning Profile dropdown, select Choose Custom File and choose your Profile.mobileprovision file.
- All other fields are optional: New Application ID, App Display Name, App Version, and App Short Version.
- Click Start and indicate where you'd like to save the signed IPA file.

Once finished, install the app on your device. This can be done several ways:
- Connect your device to your Mac with a USB cable and open Apple Configurator. Select your device, click Add > Apps > Choose from my Mac, and choose the IPA file.
- Install iFunbox, click Install App, and choose the IPA file.
- Drag and drop your IPA file onto the Diawi homepage, visit the link on your device, and click Install Application.
iOS App Signer Troubleshooting
Certificate has an invalid issuer
Your certificate may have been revoked by Apple. If you are eligible for revoke protection, you can check your order and download new Certificate & Provisioning files there. Otherwise, you will need to make another purchase. Silver memberships have 90 days of revoke protection, while Gold and Platinum memberships have a full year.
Codesigning Error
There are a few possible fixes:
- Go to "~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning Profiles" and delete the files in this folder.
- From your keychain, delete any personal certificates that mention iOS Developer, Mac Developer, etc.
- Install the Xcode Command Line Tools via the Terminal: xcode-select --install
Signed applications do not install
- Check that you are using the latest version of iOS App Signer.
- Try all of the methods for installing apps, including Apple Configurator, iFunbox, and Diawi.
- Try signing and installing other apps. The app you're trying to install could be corrupted, or it may be not be compatible with iOS App Signer. Feel free to report such issues here. Please do not contact us about these issues as they are outside of our control.
